Whaley Water Weekend, W3 - 12.6.10

Whaley Bridge held one of its major community events during the weekend of 12-13 June. Whaley Water Weekend, W3 brings a good gathering of locals and visitors alike.
Friends of Whaley Bridge Station ran a stall each day which promoted travel by rail and the railway station, and raised the profile of the Friends group.
A keen interest in the stall and its displays was enhanced by the giveaways generously provided by ACoRP and Northern Rail. The raffle for a free Northern Rail Family ticket was won locally.
A good weekend was had by all.
