Rail Freight -

a guide for community groups and rail partnerships.

A practical toolkit to encourage community groups and others to look at
rail's potential to take freight off the roads, and to also offer a healthy

Station Adoption Toolkit 2006 –
a guide for the local community

This toolkit will be of interest to a wide range of community groups and individuals. More and more local stations are being adopted by their communities. These are usually the smaller unstaffed stations which have lacked 'tender loving care'. Station adoption is a way of turning stations round and bringing them back into the heart of the communities they serve.

Printed copies can be obtained free from the ACoRP office or downloaded below

ail Reopening Toolkit –
a complete guide to the process of reopening a disused railway
