ACoRP Research and Consultancy Services

We have access to a large network of specialists in most aspects of rail and integrated transport planning and policy. Our main focus for research and consultancy is ‘the local railway’ and its links with communities.

Recent clients have included:

Lancashire County Council: The East Lancashire Line: prospects for a community rail partnership (completed May 2005)

Hertfordshire County Council: advice on establishing a community rail partnership for the Watford Junction – St Albans Abbey line (2004)

Countryside Agency: Rail Re-openings in Yorkshire and the Humber (2004)
In January 2004 ACoRP took over the consultancy work of TR&IN (Transport Research and Information Network). TR&IN had over 10 years of experience in consultancy related to railways and their social, economic and environmental benefits.
